About this Event
Prepare for labor, birth and the early postpartum period with an interactive class for expectant parents and their support persons. Childbirth Education provides practical information to help you better understand what to expect as you approach your baby’s birth.
Topics include signs and stages of labor, when to come to the hospital, breathing and relaxation techniques, comfort measures and positioning, pain-management options, potential medical interventions, vaginal and cesarean birth, the support person’s role, immediate postpartum recovery, newborn procedures and preparing for the transition home.
Whether this is your first baby or you would like a refresher, this class is designed to help you feel informed and prepared for labor, delivery and the first days with your newborn.
