Women’s Services Expansion – Comprehensive Care for Every Stage of Life

Inpatient Expansion

We’re expanding our main hospital to accommodate a growing community and provide enhanced care for mothers and babies. The inpatient Women’s Services expansion will feature:

44,000 sq. ft.
10 LDR Suites for labor, delivery, and recovery
24 Postpartum Rooms
NICU Level III Capable, with a minimum of 11 beds
Dedicated OB Emergency Department (OBED)

Outpatient Women’s Health Center

Our new Women’s Health Center in the professional building on campus offers a full range of outpatient services designed to meet the unique needs of women:

19,500 sq. ft.
32 Exam Rooms
Imaging and laboratory testing
Pelvic floor and massage therapy
OB and midwife offices
Timeshare suites for specialized care

Your Birth, Your Way

At Texas Health Hospital Mansfield, women have the support of our full team of OB/GYNs and certified nurse-midwives. Expanding Access Beyond Mansfield – Texas Health Neighborhood Care & Wellness Center Midlothian

We’re growing to better serve the broader community with a new offsite facility in Midlothian, designed to provide convenient access to emergency, primary, and specialty care. Highlights include:

State-of-the-art Emergency Department with 12 private rooms
Advanced imaging services, including MRI, CT scans, and digital mammography
Specialized trauma and triage rooms
On-site laboratory and pharmacy for faster results and access
Full-spectrum Primary Care and OB/GYN services
Physical therapy tailored to recovery goals
Helipad for rapid air transfer in urgent situations

Hybrid Operating Room (OR) – Now Open, Expanding Cardiac & Vascular Care

Our Hybrid OR officially opened in January 2026, expanding capacity and bringing advanced technology to cardiac and vascular services at Texas Health Hospital Mansfield. This innovative space allows us to serve more patients with complex, life-saving procedures, including:

1,500 sq. ft. of state-of-the-art clinical space
Expansion from 1 Cath Lab to 2 Cath Labs
New service lines: Electrophysiology (EP) and Thoracic Surgery
Increased capacity to treat EMS STEMI cases
